04/29/19: Contractor performed demolition and preparation for approach slab, backwall and wing wall on AFW Bridge # 1016(I-295 NB) and also removed debris and reinforcement on Wing wall I & II AFW Bridge # 1016 (I-295 NB) and also performed sounding and saw-cutting on AFW Bridge # 1017(I-295 SB) Abutment B.

04/30/19: Contractor performed chipping for cheek wall on AFW B ridge # 1017 (I-295 SB) Abutment-A and performed excavation of asphalt and topsoil for proposed pier deck jacking approximately from Sta.103+40 to Sta.101+70. Contractor also performed demolition on AFW Bridge # 1016 (I-295 NB) for Backwall, Moment slab and Cheekwall and saw-cutting along backwall on AFW Bridge # 1017 (I-295 SB) Abutment-B.

05/01/19: Contractor performed saw-cutting for proposed 3" dia. perforated SDR 35 pipe on AFW Bridge # 1017(I-295SB); Subcontractor performed DCP testing for proposed jerk foundation pier on AFW Bridge # 1016 approximately from Sta. 101+ 70 to Sta. 102+20. Contractor continues demolition on AFW Bridge #1016 (I-295NB) over South Capitol SEB on Abutment-A for Backwall, Wing wall. Contractor remove debris at AFW Bridge # 1017 (I-295NB) on Stem wall beam seat.

05/02/19: Contractor performed excavation for DCP testing in preparation for proposed jerk foundation on pier within from Sta.103+00 to Sta.103+20. Contractor performed excavation and profiling for SDP installation on AFW Bridge # 1017(I-295 SB). Contractor performed formwork preparation for concrete pour for SW Cheek wall, Roughened Concrete and Abutment Steam Beam seat B. Contractor Saw-cut on Abutment B on AFW Bridge # 1016 (I-295NB). Contractor continued demolition for approach slab on AFW Bridge # 1016 (I-295 NB). Contractor performed reinforcement installation for NW Cheek wall.

05/03/19: Contractor continued removal of debris on AFW Bridge # 1016 Abutment B (I-295NB) and demolition on top pier cap and beam seat of AFW Bridge # 1016 Abutment A (I-295NB).

Sunday, April 21 – Saturday, April 27

04/22/19: Contractor completed the placing of formwork for proposed stem wall and beam seats for girders A, B, C and D on bridge 1017 abutment B on SB295. Contractor started the installation of reinforcing steel and formwork for proposed Pier cap and

beam seats for girders A, B, C and D on bridge 1017, SB295. Contractor completed the demolition of section of the existing moment slab and wingwall 11 on bridge 1017, abutment B on SB-295. Contractor started the demolition of section of bridge 1017 Abutment B, backwall, on SB295. Contractor continued the demolition of unplanned sprawls on the bridge 1017 abutment A backwall on SB-295. The subcontractor started the saw cutting of section of wingwall 11 on existing bridge 1016, abutment B on SB-295.

04/23/19: Contractor completed the installation of reinforcing steel and formwork for the pier cap extension and beam seats for proposed girders A, B, C and D on bridge 1017, SB-295. Contractor continued the demolition of section of the backwall on bridge 1017 Abutment B on SB-295. The subcontractor’s crew completed the saw cutting of section of wingwall 11 and layout to start saw cutting section of wingwall 1 on existing bridge 1016 on NB-295.

04/24/19: Contractor completed the laying out and started the installation of reinforcing steel for section of the stem wall and beam seats for proposed girders A, B, C and D on bridge 1017, abutment A on SB-295. Contractor completed the chipping of section of the backwall on bridge 1017 Abutment B on SB-295. Contractor started the demolition of wingwall 11 and the backwall on bridge 1016, Abutment B on NB-295. The subcontractor sawcut section of existing wingwall 1 proposed to be demolished on bridge 1016, abutment A on NB-295.

04/25/19: Contractor completed the installation of reinforcing steel on bridge 1017 abutment A, stem wall and beam seats for proposed girders A, B, C and D on SB-295.

2. Contractor sawcut section of the backwall proposed to be demolished on bridge 1016 Abutment A on NB-295.

04/26/19: Contractor installed forms for proposed stem wall and beam seats for girders A, B, C and D on bridge 1017 abutment A on SB-295. Contractor resumed the demolition of approach slabs on the northern and southern approaches of bridge 1016 on NB-295.

04/27/19: No work on this date.

Sunday, April 14 – Saturday, April 20

04/14/19: Contractor performed saw-cutting and demolition of concrete barrier along AFW Bridge 1017 (I-295 SB) on South Capitol St. SW.

04/15/19: Contractor continued saw-cutting and demolition of barrier and concrete cap and removing debris along AFW Bridge 1017 and 1016 on South Capitol St.

04/16/19: Contractor continued saw-cutting and demolition of barrier and concrete cap and removing debris along AFW Bridge 1017 and 1016 on South Capitol St.

04/17/19: Contractor cleaned armor joint including removing the rubber and dirt. Contractor also installed pavement marking tape for the in lane close to the barricades.

04/18/19: Contractor performed debris removal and backfilling and compaction work for proposed jack footing, excavated area along Abutment A and demolishing debris removed from wing wall on Abutment A.

04/19/19: No work on this date.

04/20/19: No work on this date.

Sunday, April 7 – Saturday, April 13

04/07/19: Contractor demolished existing beam seats on Bridge 1017 abutment A and pier on SB-295.

04/08/19: Contractor demolished existing beam seats on Bridge 1017 abutment B on SB-295.

04/09/19: Contractor demolished existing backwall on bridge 1017, abutment A&B. also the existing wingwall 1 on bridge 1017 on SB-295.

04/10/19: Contractor continued the demolition of portion of existing wingwall 1 on bridge 1017 on SB-295.

04/11/18: Contractor chipped of concrete on existing bridge 1017, abutment A backwall on SB-295 and removed 6 girders from Bridge 1016 on NB-295. Contractor also removed all deck bearings on the girders, rigged the girders and removed the connecting diaphragms.

04/12/19: No work on this date.

Sunday, March 31 – Saturday, April 6

03/31/19: The contractor completed the demolition of span 2 deck slabs on existing Bridge 1017 on SB-295. The contractor completed the demolition of span 1 deck slab and started the demolition of span 2 deck slab on existing Bridge 1016 on NB-295.

04/01/19: The contractor removed concrete from the top flanges of the girders on existing Bridge 1017 span 2 and also started and completed the demolition of the southern approach slab on existing Bridge 1017, SB-295. The Contractor completed the demolition of span 2 deck slab and started the demolition of the southern approach slab on existing Bridge 1016, NB-295.

04/02/19: The contractor chip of concrete remaining on the top flanges of the girders on existing Bridge 1017, SB-295, span 1. The crew started to loosen bolts on the end and intermediate diaphragms on existing Bridge 1017, SB-295, Abutment A between girders G29 and G32. The contractor completed the demolition of the southern approach slab on existing Bridge 1016, NB-295. The crew started to loosen bolts on the end and intermediate diaphragms on existing Bridge 1016, NB-295, Abutment B, between girders G1 and G4.

04/03/19: The contractor started the removal of bolts and nuts from the diaphragms and stiffeners on existing Bridge 1017 on SB-295. The contractor started the removal of bolts and nuts from the diaphragms and stiffeners on existing Bridge 1016 on NB-295.

04/04/18: The contractor’s crews started the removal of girders from Bridge 1017 on SB-295.
